In the frame of the UNESCO World Heritage Volunteers 2019 project “The Restoration of Casa Batlló, from inside to beyond its walls”, Casa Batlló, a World Heritage site since 2005, organized together with the NGO European Heritage Volunteers several activities with young volunteers in October and November 2019. One of the activities chosen was a team building event at MOSAICCOS Barcelona to create, with the trencadís technique, the motif of the façade of Casa Batlló with a spectacular aesthetic result. As part of our 2018 Safety and Environment Conference, we held two Team Building events promoting teamwork and collaboration among colleagues. We planned a teambuilding event at MOSAICCOS and we cannot rave enough about it! Creating a mosaic together was an incredible experience for our team– we used communication and organization to create a beautiful masterpiece that we can show off in our home office. Although they offer beautiful offsite events we chose to do our team building at their own venue, which is such a cosy and inviting place! We definitely recommend this activity for anyone who wants a hands-on way of connecting to catalan culture. Angelika shows you exactly how to create artwork like the trencadis master, Gaudi! Let's Holidays

Our students travel in groups on a cultural and educational tour. The workshop at MOSAICCOS is always a big highlight for them. The students love the hands on activity while learning about culture and history. They have fun and they are excited to create their own mosaic piece using “El Trencadis” technique.
The team at MOSAICCOS is very cooperative and adapts to our tight schedule. I appreciate their support and suggestions always with focus on the best experience for our adventurous groups.

We organised MOSAICCOS workshop as we wanted to promote the cultural tradition of mosaic art and the “Trencadis” tecnique to our local people remembering also Gaudi style. In 2011 we learned about the art studio Mosaiccos founded by Mrs. Angelika Heinbach in the city of Castelldefels. As german tour operator and market leader in cultural oriented circuits and roundtrips we are always looking for additional benefits for our tours and our guests. Therefore we included a visit of the art studio Mosaiccos for our touristgroups coming to the area of Barcelona.

Our guest returned very satisfied from the visit of Mosaiccos where they learned a lot about the Trencadis technique of creating mosaics and even could create their own ones. The professional and friendly attitude of Mrs Heinbach helped a lot to make thess visits of the art studio a memorable one.
