Creating Mosaics like Antonio Gaudí
We show children the basic of ‘TRENCADIS’ the revolutionary technique invented by Antonio Gaudí which can be found all over Barcelona’s main monuments as La Pedrera, Casa Batlló, Parque Güell, Sagrada Familia, La Torre Bellesguard, Palau Güell y la Colonia Güell and etc…
This children´s activity is going to enable children to experience the Gaudi spirit where there are no limits for their imaginations and creativity in a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere, tutored by an artesan master.
Children will learn the basics of the technique, how to handle tools, choose their design and work on their first masterpiece of trencadis – mosaic: a coaster, an elephant, a rabbit, a mirror, a photo frame and other objects. The “Gaudí Experience” will be an unforgettable, special and unique experience for Children.
Opening hours for classes
- Monday to Friday: 10.00am to 7.00pm (latest class at 5.00pm)
- Saturday from 10.00 am to 2.00pm (latest class at 12.00).
- You can visit us at any time during the opening hours.
- Sunday is only available on request.
The standard time is two hours
- 2 hours/person: 45€, all material included (all materials tiffany glass, objects like a photo frame, a heart, an elephant, the top of a box, a cat, a dog. are included).
- 1 hour/person: 25€ (coaster)
We offer special prices for groups.
Reservation
If your course is in the morning you can pick up your artwork in the evening.
If your course is in the afternoon, you can pick up the artwork the next day

2 hours of mosaic activity, making your own mosaic. We will design a unique and personal celebration for your child. It will be a memorable occasion and we can handle everything, and also offer packages with Birthday cakes etc.
They can work on a heart, an elephant, a mirror, a box..
